DR. LAUREN WELLS
Dr. Lauren Wells is originally from a small town called Tehachapi in California. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in French from Walla Walla University in 2009, then graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2013. After finishing dental school, she worked in private practice for 3 years in California while her husband finished his emergency medicine residency, after his completion of his residency program they relocated to Utah for 2 years where she worked at a community health clinic. As fate would have it, she fulfilled a lifelong dream and ended up in Alaska (and now can never imagine leaving). She spent nearly 4 years working at Southcentral Foundation and is excited to transition back to private practice at Gregorin Dental.
Dentistry has always been a part of her life as both of her parents, and even her twin sister, are all dentists. Her love for art and science is perfectly matched in dentistry. She thoroughly enjoys working with people to improve their overall health and smiles. She is excited to incorporate biomimetic principles to preserve the structure, and function of the original tooth as much as possible.
Dr. Wells enjoys time off with her husband and dog, photography, aurora chasing, painting, baking with her sourdough starter “Hal,” hiking/backpacking, biking year round, berry picking, camping, fishing, ice skating, dog sledding, and skiing.
